FAQs

Ordering

Are unframed prints available?

Our works are typically sold framed as complete pieces.

Unframed prints can sometimes be supplied on request depending on the artwork and size. Please contact us for availability.

Can I request a custom size or frame finish?

In many cases, yes. We can often accommodate bespoke sizes, alternative frame finishes or custom specifications depending on the artwork and project requirements.

Will the artwork look exactly like the website images?

We photograph and scan artworks carefully to represent colour and texture as accurately as possible. However, slight variation between screens and printed materials is normal.

Framing

What kind of frames do you use?

Our frames are made from FSC-certified timber and are designed to feel simple, elegant and architectural. We favour narrow contemporary profiles with subtle finishes that allow the artwork to remain the focus.

What mounting options do you offer?

As standard, works are framed edge-to-edge for a clean, contemporary presentation.

Upon request, we can also offer:

  • Float mounting
  • Window mounting
  • Inset window mounting

Availability varies depending on the artwork and frame style.

What glazing do you use?

Works are glazed with standard float glass as standard.

Non-reflective and museum-grade glazing can also be specified on request, with pricing available upon enquiry.

Are the frames handmade?

Yes. Our frames are handmade and finished in the traditional way, produced in small batches in the UK.

Materials & Conservation

What paper do you print on?

We use museum-quality fine art papers chosen for their texture, tone and longevity. Most works are printed on Hahnemühle Hemp paper, while a selected few are produced on Japanese Awagami Inbe Washi, which has a beautiful natural movement and softness to it.

Are the materials conservation grade?

Yes. We use acid-free conservation materials wherever possible, including the mountboard, spacers and backing materials, all chosen for long-term stability.

Will the prints fade over time?

All prints are produced using archival pigment inks and high-quality fine art papers intended for longevity. As with any artwork, we recommend avoiding prolonged direct sunlight.

Shipping & Delivery

What are your lead times?

Most framed works are made to order. Typical lead times are approximately 2–4 weeks, though this can vary depending on framing specification and workshop load.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We can arrange international shipping for many works. Shipping costs and delivery times will vary depending on destination. Please contact us for a quotation.

How are artworks packaged?

Framed works are packed using reinforced protective packaging designed specifically for artwork transport. Unframed prints are carefully packed flat or rolled depending on size and format.

Can I arrange delivery directly to a client or project site?

Yes. We regularly coordinate deliveries to interior designers, studios, project sites and private clients.

Trade & Bespoke

Do you offer trade pricing?

Yes. We offer trade pricing for interior designers, architects and industry professionals.

Can you help with artwork selection?

Absolutely. We are happy to advise on sizing, framing and artwork combinations for residential or commercial projects.

Can you match existing frame finishes or specifications?

In some cases, yes. We can often accommodate bespoke frame finishes or custom specifications for larger or trade orders.

Care & Installation

How are the artworks hung?

Most framed works are supplied with a split batten hanging system for a clean, flush fit against the wall. Alternative hanging methods can be arranged on request.

How should I clean the frame?

We recommend dusting gently with a soft dry cloth. Avoid household cleaners or abrasive materials.

Returns

Can I return a framed artwork?

As many works are made to order, returns are handled on a case-by-case basis. If your order arrives damaged or there is an issue with the piece, please contact us as soon as possible.

What should I do if my order arrives damaged?

Please email photographs of the packaging and artwork within 48 hours of delivery and we will resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
